Ōhope Beach Football Club is a family-friendly club based in Ōhope Beach, New Zealand catering for children from aged 5-13 and senior mens.

Run by volunteers, OBFC has a strong community following and is one of the largest football clubs in the Eastern Bay of Plenty region.

Junior/kids' training takes place after school during the week, with games being played every Saturday during terms 2 & 3 (excluding school holidays).

The senior season runs approximately from April to September, with pre-season training starting in the summer.

New for 2026 – Women’s Football at OBFC 

We’re excited to be launching a women’s football team this season – the Ōhope Beach Sea Sirens.This new team reflects the growing interest in women’s football in our community and continues OBFC’s focus on being an inclusive, family-friendly club where everyone is welcome.

The Sea Sirens will compete in the senior competition, with the season running from April to September 2026, alongside our men’s team.
